What to do if you have completed STP Lodgements under an incorrect ABN, WPN or GST Branch.

If you have completed STP Lodgements under an incorrect ABN, WPN or GST Branch Code, a new Tenant is required if it changed partway through the Financial Year.  Otherwise, the ABN, WPN or GST Branch can be changed once a zero event has been sent to the ATO.

If the issue affects the entire Financial Year (e.g. your ABN, WPN or GST Code has been incorrect since 1 July),

• STEP 1 - Lodge a Zero STP YTD Balance Event to the ATO.

• STEP 2 - Change the Organisation GST Branch.

• STEP 3 - Lodge an STP Update to the ATO.

If the issue affects part of the Financial Year (e.g. your ABN, WPN or GST Code has been incorrect since 1 December),

• STEP 1 - Reverse Pay Runs lodged using the wrong ABN, WPN or GST Branch.

• STEP 2 - Process the End Of Financial Year.

• STEP 3 - Export your Awards and Agreements.

• STEP 4 - Export your Superannuation Funds.

• STEP 5 - Export your Payee Information and delete the Payees not being transferred to the new GST Branch. 

• STEP 6 - Cancel your e-PayDay Gol Subscription Plan.

• STEP 7 - Sign up to use e-PayDay Go®.

• STEP 8 - Configure your Organisation (Legal Entity).

• STEP 9 - Review the system default Pay Types and add any you require.

• STEP 10 - Import your Awards and Agreements.

• STEP 11 - Import your Superannuation Funds.

• STEP 12 - Import your Payee Information.

• STEP 13 - Review the Imported Payees to add Payment Method (Banking) Details and confirm all other settings.

• STEP 14 - Process the Pay Runs that should have been reported under the new GST Branch.
