What is Portable Long Service Leave?

Employees accrue long service leave entitlements based on their total service within a specific industry, rather than their length of employment with a single employer. This means workers can move between different companies within that industry and still accumulate their long service leave. 

• STEP 1

  • Add the relevant Pay Rates to select Hours/Days Worked (Portable Long Service).

  • Add the relevant Pay Rates to select Ordinary Pay/Wages (Portable Long Service).

  • Edit the relevant User Modified Pay Rates to select Hours/Days Worked (Portable Long Service).

  • Edit the relevant User Modified Pay Rates to select Ordinary Pay/Wages (Portable Long Service).

• STEP 2

  • Add the relevant Allowances to select Ordinary Pay/Wages (Portable Long Service).

  • Edit the relevant User Modified Allowances to select Ordinary Pay/Wages (Portable Long Service).

• STEP 3

  • Choose the Portable Long Service Leave Details for the required Payees.
