Roles and Permissions

Roles and Permissions provide the ability to create and manage roles. Each user is assigned a role within e-PayDay Go, which defines their permissions. For example, you may configure a role which only provide the user the ability to generate reports or manage the subscription.

Create new role is available to users on the Advanced Plan and enables you to add a new role. 

Filter Permissions enables you to limit the roles displayed in the Roles and Permissions list based on the permissions chosen.

Refresh can be selected to update the Roles and Permissions Table

The Roles and Permissions Table lists each System Default and User Defined Roles. We have provided four System Default Roles, two of which can be edited,

The Actions Button allows you to Edit, View, Delete (opens the Role Window) or Set as Default.

Showing X to X of X entries. Show X entries allows you to select how many Users you would like displayed per page.

Pagination Controls allows you to navigate between the pages of Users.

Role

The Role Window is displayed when creating, editing or viewing a role, and contains two sections, Role Details and Permissions

Role Details

Role Details displays the name and default setting for the role chosen.

Permissions

The Permissions Tree displays the sections within e-PayDay Go that the user can access. We will refine these settings by enhancing this functionality over several future releases.

Information and Warning Messages

The messages below are displayed when specific actions are performed within e-PayDay Go.

Change Default Role Warning Message

The Change Default Role Alert (Modal) is displayed when Actions > Set as Default is chosen within Users. If Acknowledge is selected, the Role is set as the default for all new e-PayDay Go Tenant users.

Delete Role Warning Message

The Delete Role Alert (Modal) is displayed when Actions > Delete is chosen within Users. If Acknowledge is selected, the Role is deleted and cannot be restored.
