🎯 To add a new Pay Type, an existing one must be copied with the required characteristics to produce the expected outcome that meets your needs. Using the chosen Pay Rate as a template restricts the possibility of STP reporting incorrectly.
Select Pay Types from the Side Navigation Menu.
Locate the Allowance you require by manually scrolling through the Pay Type List, entering the name into Search or using Show Advanced Filters.
Once the Allowance has been located, select Actions > Copy.
In Allowance Details,
Select Available in All Purpose Allowance
If required, change Description, $ (or % of Rate Per Hour) and/or Paid By.
n Taxation,
If required, choose
Ordinary Pay/Wages (Portable Long Service),
Include in Wages Declaration (WorkCover) and/or
Include in Payroll Tax (SRO).
Select Save.
